PEMBUATAN TURBIN ANGIN VERTIKAL SAVONIUS SKALA RUMAH TANGGA

Semakin menipisnya potensi energi tak terbarukan dan bahaya akan pemanasan global mengakibatkan harus ada upaya untuk memperoleh baru yang ramah lingkungan salah satunya adalah dengan memanfaatkan kecepatan angin. Potensi belum banyak dimanfaatkan di Indonesia yaitu angin rendah 2 m/s hingga 6 m/s. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu cara agar dapat tersebut. Dari latar belakang permasalahan maka dilakukanlah penelitian membuat turbin vertikal savonius skala rumah tangga. Tujuannya masyarakat sebagai satu alternatif listrik. Metode pada ini mengukur dilapangan, pembuatan analisis pengaruh perubahan sudut baling-baling terhadap daya listrik dihasilkan generator. Didalam kegiatan rancang bangun digunakan sebuah generator terhubung secara kincir dimana baling-balingnya diatur. hasil diketahui bahwa berfungsi menghasilkan tegangan arus Putaran Kincir angin, putaran generator, terbesar saat 3.7 penggunaan 45 o kondisi tanpa beban diperoleh 964 rpm, 392 sebesar 532 13.6 V 0.79 A.
